Putian
Putian is a prefecture level city, in the eastern part of Fujian Province. As one of the Fujian industrial city, Putian also known as Lichee city, a large lichee producer.
Meizhou Island is a famous island where Mazu (goddess of the sea) were born. This tiny island can be accessed by 20 minutes sea travel via ferryboat from Putian City. Temple of Mazu is an attractive sites that also be a pilgrim destination, especially for Taiwanese, who majority Mazu worshipper.
