Bordering Jiangxi Province in the northwest of Fujian Province, Sanming suitable for tourist year around. Main attraction of Sanming City are mountains scenery and peculiar caves.

Sanming Tourist Destination

Ruiyun Cavern is located in Meilie, northwestern of Sanming City. There are wooden temples inside the cave, which were constructed during the Ming Dynasty. At the entrance side wall, carved the inscriptions from Ming and Song Dynasty. This exotic cavern covered with verdant pines at the top, and mountain spring cascaded over the entrance.

Swan Cave Scenic Area is situated 20 kilometers east of Ninghua County, its name acquires from the mountain's shape like a swan and stalactites inside the cave also looks like a white swans.

Taoyuan Cave located in north of Yongan County, famous for its wonderful landscapes including verdant plants and unique rocks.
