Fuzhou National Forest Park

Fuzhou National Forest Park is situated in Xindian Town, Jin’an District. The park is 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) in the northern suburb of Fuzhou City and covers an area of 2891 hectares. It's surrounded on three sides by mountains while the other faces the river.

Fuzhou National Forest Park is an AAAA rating national level scenic spot, and one of the nine principal forest parks in the China. This exotic park contains a variety of botanical gardens with 3000 species plants from both domestic and abroad. The entire park is divided into five parts: Banyan tree region, Mid-Asian tropical evergreen broadleaf tree region, South-Asian tropical jungle region, region of wild fruit trees in hilly country and off-shore wood region.

The Park is also equipped with abundant recreational facilities. Fujian Forestry Museum show the visitors about forestry achievements of Fujian, and The Dragon Pond Scenic Zone offers a theme of forest ecotourism. Fuzhou National Forest Park is a good choice for tourism and scientific research.
